    Dear Team,

I attended your last meeting in the village hall with my friend and we both came away with a sense of relief and hope that all was not lost and actually we were a long way from losing our beloved fields to concrete and mortar.

However, since that meeting there have been more announcements in the news of AVDC granting planning permission and now there are trucks and workers with equipment doing, what everyone believes, is soil testing?

They have dug several holes in most of the fields and made quite a mess and yesterday left the long gate onto the Aston Clinton road open for anyone’s dog to wander out into traffic!

I think it might be the right time to put out a statement of some kind to allay worried locals that this is not the beginning of the end, or is it?

Sorry to be such a worrywort and I do realise that you all have other things to do but myself and every dog walker I have spoken to this week have concerns and the rumour police are shouting “we’ve lost them, they’re gone!”. Please could you put our minds at rest once more.

    Concerned but ever grateful,

    Mandy Chrisostomou

      Hi Mandy,

I agree. We are constantly battling rumour and speculation. We will put out an email this week. We are still waiting for the Inspectors view of the Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan. This is the crucial next step.

      Many thanks
