HFAG have written to AVDC, saying that the Vale Plan Inspector’s strong criticism of the Aylesbury Transport Strategy raises questions over Hampden Fields. Following legal advice from our barrister, we are saying that the confident assurances given by BCC to last year’s planning committee must now be in doubt. We are advised that if Planning Permission is granted in the current circumstances we would be able to challenge it legally. We are also asking for a meeting with AVDC to see whether we can work together for a better solution for everyone instead of having to always be in confrontation mode. The chances of this are perhaps slim, but there’s no harm in trying, especially as we are maintaining our resolute critique of the plans.  You can read our letter in full here: AOP Letter to AVDC

A similar one has gone in for Woodlands, too.  The campaign continues!
